A flourishing society requires leaders who can see the world with a clear vision and have the skills and character to work to make this a reality. The Lachlan Macquarie Institute exists to train these people.
The LMI Residential Fellowship Program is a 3-month intensive developed to train young men and women for wise engagement in politics and civil society from within a Christian perspective. Residential fellowship programs each run for 3 months on their beautiful rural property just outside Canberra. Their goal in this time is to give participants a foundation in theology, history, and political philosophy as a basis for understanding the ideas that shape our public sphere.
This Fellowship runs twice a year: once over Summer, and once in Autumn. Applications are open for the Autumn 2026 Fellowship which will run from 29 March 2026 to 4 July 2026. For more information see website.
